In the last week...
Waking the Dead: Is it a creepy novel or book on archeology? No, it's one of John Eldredge's books (Wild at Heart). Many of the precepts suggested in the books ring true in not only my mind, but heart as well. This selection focuses on the fact that we live in a world that is at war, spiritual war that is. I needed to be reminded of that...in North America with everything we have and the busyness it take concerted effort to not be distracted...and I so often am and then wonder why I feel like I'm drowning. I needed a reminder and so I made a bracelet tonight: simple blue beads (my favourite colour) and the words spelled out, "MAKE NO AGREEMENT." This is a quote from the book and I would like to share it sometime when I'm not too lazy to go and get the book.
